About me
I received my bachelor´s degree in biological sciences from University of Bologna and in my thesis I did high-throughput screenings to find compounds able to modulate the RNA binding activity of HuR.
I then received my master´s degree in molecular and cell biology from University of Bologna, doing my master thesis at Max Planck Institute of Biochemistry in Munich working on cell cycle kinases.
I started my PhD at Johannes Gutenberg University in the Dormann lab in 2021 working on TDP-43 and how its phosphorylation can arise during neurodegenerative disease development.
