About me
Hi, I am Federico Uliana. I studied Chemistry in the University of Padova (2015) and earned my PhD in Systems Biology from ETHZ in 2020 under the supervision of Prof. Dr. R. Aebersold (“New insights into Hippo pathway and Tumor Necrosis Factor Receptor signaling complex”). During these times I have developed quantitative MS approaches to profile protein complexes and study enzyme-substrate relationships.
From 2020-2023 I led the mass spectrometry/proteomics facility at the Institute of Biochemistry (ETHZ).
Since 2024 I am part of the team of Prof. Dr. D. Dormann ( JGU Mainz, Germany), where I apply proteomics techniques to explore organization and regulation of proteins within biomolecular condensates and aggregates. I am co-affiliated with Prof. Dr. Carla Schmidt’s group in the Department of Chemistry-Biochemistry at JGU.
